Hi does any one have a cane fly rod suitable for small streams.I need one for up coming filming this season.I'm thinking of buying one from China Mr Zu that has quite good reviews on here, but i think a British make would by more fitting.I thought i would ask on here before Ebay.Size about 7ft #3.Thank's ATB Steve.

You can borrow an English built 7ft #4/5 and a reel with an 'EXPERT' Dry Fly line in either weight from me if you like. If you break it it will cost you the repair bill. BUT, are you sure you need a small rod? I fish small streams regularly, usually with an 8ft 8in or 8ft 9in #5 weight and have no problems.

Not all small streams are a like!
You wouldnt use an 8ft9" #5 on the streams I fish! A 5ft #3 is the norm
