hi , i was wondering if anybody has a vac rac rod carrier that they no longer use or want that they would be willing to sell on. i don`t want to pay £50 for a new one that will only be used for a few weeks in orkney.

Clas Ohlson in Manchester were selling vacuum rod holders for about £18 a few months ago. Perfectly serviceable, I've used mine quite a few times in all sorts of conditions with no problems. Might be worth checking your 'local' branch.

can make ur own from vaccum glass carrying handles duel clamp think they are £7 each so 2 would set you back 14 quicd plus just add some foam pipe to stop the rods scratching job done.
