hi guy's i'm looking for a 4piece 14wt for a trip next year so a bit of time,hope to hear

I'm no expert on rods but would say a 2.5lb TC carp, spod or pike rod be a viable substitute for a double handed fly rod?

Again I've no idea if it would or wouldn't just me thinking aloud.
