When I'm on the move, I take 1 of the 20w halogen telescopic lamps that Asda/ Tesco sell for a £5'er they are great.Come to our FDG nights ,everybody will be using them.

Jim, watch if those lamps ever get dropped, I dropped mine and got an electric shock off of the telescopic arm.

When my dad, who's an electrician, took it apart it appeared that their connections inside the lamp were ropey as f**k.

Never thought they were going to be wonderfull (Made in far east).but in using mines for 10 years and all the guys in the FDG nobody has been electricuted YET. as in most of these Halogen systems the arms are live. but low voltage.
