Talking beaudex ??

im after another reel for my new cane rod,beaudex etc....any of you chaps any input on a suitable reel?
tempted by the #2/4 salter reel and not a bad price...

I use a Pridex on my 7'. looks nice and is very functional.

Just had a look at the 2/4 you mention above. 55.00 wow what value...think I might be getting one for my 7'6" cane wand.

The 3 inch Beaudex Is a lovely reel
Prices are going up I keep talking about them

gary,was about to order a rod off you aswell been through e**y time and time and theres a few nice beaudex and pridex going for up to £50.00 but i have set my sights on a 3"---or am i just a tackle tart mate ATB kev

Kevspread,

my Pridex cost me £13 a couple of months ago. Both are amazing reels, but I wouldn't pay more than £20 - and that would be for one in very good condition/mint.

There's a Beaudex on ebay at the moment and I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole (in poor condition).
You just have to keep looking.

I'll tip you the wink if I see one which I don't want myself

That's not a bad price for a Beaudex in (what looks to be) pristine condition.
