Default Hardy St George 3 3/8'

I picked up one of these for a tenner at an auction a few years ago and was wondering if someone could give me an idea of it's value.
It's in reasonable condition, some surface marks but the line guide is good with no cracks.
Thanks
Al

ps. I also have some fully dressed Hardy Jock Scott salmon flies still in their original packets as well as fully dressed flies from an old Donegal maker in individual packets.

I'm sure you'll get some very good answers here, but one other place you may wish to pose this question is on the SpeyPages web board based here in the US. These guys are "Hardy Aficionados' to put it mildly. If you're looking to sell any of the 'stuff' listed above you may well have a ready market.

Hi Fred
Thanks for the info and the quick reply, I'm not really looking to sell the stuff but it would be nice to know.

Hi BW,

A couple of questions about the St G:
2 or 3 screw latch?
leaded or painted/enamel finish?

Some photos would help, if it's an older reel a pic of the check would help too.

Cheers
Brian

It's a 2 screw latch, I'm not sure what you mean about the finish, what's the difference between the 2?
I'll try get some pics up tonight.
