Default info wanted on turnbull walton split cane rod

hi all, a friend has recently found two old fly rods sticking out of a bin , when he took a closer look he found one was a turnbull trout fly rod with the word 'Walton' engraved on the butt section and the other is a turnbull spey cast salmon rod with two tip sections, the trout fly rod needs a little work but the spey rod is in very good condition and could most likely be used without a problem, i am having a bit of trouble finding out any more info other than they were made in Edinburgh,, anyone know anything more about turnbull rods?
many thanks for any info.

tight lines
