note the position of the check..at first glance you would think it had a rim tensioner but it is actually for disabling the check and putting it to free spooling mode...

this one is nice too , especially as it is large at 4.25" and marked forrest of kelso

Very nice N, they will only go up in value.
I like the trout size ones but they are getting harder to find.

It amazes me how much these have gone up over the years it was not long ago I could have bought a nice one for 70 uk pounds. Now you just don’t see them anymore. Always were quality reels.

Thanks for sharing

Default Beautiful

Love those caged Dingley's. I have a 3 3/4 which is one of my favourites.

I need a foot for a 4" Dingley Perfect like yours, any ideas? Someone filed the original foot to fit the new rods.

are you sure it has been filed , the feet on the dingley perfects were fairly small anyway , but some were done in a tapered style , its called a torpedo foot and compared to other feet you could be forgiven for thinking it had been filed , if it has been filed i suggest you buy a badly damaged one with a full foot and swap them over , it should fit ok...

Default Foot

Thanks, to you both. Bill Archuletta filed the foot for the previous owner. I will keep looking. It's a great fishing reel just as it is but it would be nice to have the correct foot.
