Default Anyone know anything about this rod?

A work colleague who doesn't know anything about fishing picked a rod up recently at a car boot along with a few old hardys the rod in question is an old hexaganol cane rod that he reckons is around 20' long its stamped up... made for Ruth E Wigfall from F.B.W. 1925 then further down it says the e ragan palako and a date. sorry if the description is slightly sketchy but i've not seen it for myself just what he's written down but any information about it or how much its likely to be worth would be highly appreciated. cheers mart

Hardys made a "Hi-Regan" Palakona Salmon fly Rod. I'd need to dig books out to get more info. How many pieces? One or two tips?
Somewhere in the reel seat area will be a 4 or 5 figure number starting with a letter, post this and we can date the rod.
