Gentlemen,

Can anyone recommend any cane rod makers who will carry out a repair or replacement tip for a 13' #9 rod made by Falcon of Redditch made around 1972. The tip was unfortunately broken, and I would like to repair it for all sorts of sentimental reasons.

I have done the usual search of the forum, and of the wider web, and the information super highway, but recommendations are worth alot.

I would recommend Tim Harris. http://www.harrisflyrods.co.uk/ - really nice guy - he's made one (fly) rod for me with another on order.

Alternatively I'm sure John Chapman would make a tip for you but you'd have to varnish and whip it yourself.
