Smile Hardy Elite

My self and my fishing partner used Hardy Elite 10 #7 from 2000 to 2008.
The elite was Hardy's top rod at the time we bought them. The action of ours
was towards fast ( I'm no expert). I once tried A 9ft 6in #6 at Hardy's in Alnwick and found it very different, though that was likely my bad casting.
If you phone Hardy they are normally very helpful and will give you all the info about the rod.

I looked at the Elite - then bought a couple of Sage SP's,in terms of action and quality of finish the Hardy was not (IMHO) in the same league!

Hi there, I have a 10ft Elite, #7, lovely rod, IMO, a lovely standard of finish. Just bought an Angel 2 10ft#7, to retire it and I have to say despite being a lovely rod the Angel doesnt look as 'pretty'!

I have an elite 10 foot 6 7/8 wt
I can cast as far with it as my current z-axis 7wt
The hardy Elite is well crafted powerful rod.

Used for sea trout, drift fishing loch style and it also has the odd outing for Sea bass.
