Celtic Angler is on a distinguished road
Default Pflueger Goodyear Fly Rod

Hi, I recently added a 3 piece Pflueger Goodyear bamboo rod to my collection. It is the number 2835 and is approx 9.5 feet long. I am keen to find out more about when this rod was manufactured and also whether the one that I have is original. It has a well worn cork handle and the 12 eyes are secured by a gold & black thread. There is a silken bag and a tube.

Can anyone perhaps give me some pointers to establishing its origin and authenticity (or perhaps direct me to a site which has some pics that I can compare it against). Lastly, any idea of likely value?

I'm afraid that's all I've got, sorry.
