Default Reel info required

Whilst looking through my late fathers fishing gear i came across this old Peerless reel. It is constructed from aluminium, has a nice solid drag and a lovely deep click when drawing line. The drum measures 3.25". It was loaded with an old greased line possably a kingfisher? which i have removed
There is no model number or model name to be seen, Only the manufacturers name.
Does anyone have any idea how old this reel is and has it any value?
Thanks in advance.

Never heard of them myself, but they seem to be still in business.

Do not think they are from the same manufacturer despite the same name but could be wrong on that.
These "modern" Peerless fly reels are of the highest quality unlike the one shown in the picture. Still maybe they did a budget range all those years ago. Think there might have been some tie up with Penn. The name Von Hoffe comes to mind as well.
I seem to remember a Penn Peerless. Interesting reel never the less.
