A friend of mine has a modern Greys reel that is a bit different from the norm.

It has a Greys badge on the front but on the back it is branded Hardy.

I assume it must be a prototype of some sort.

I know there are a few collectors on here and also people who would know what this sort of thing might be worth.

Any infomation would be great.

it could be because they're the same company ! and might market the same reel under both brand names and somehow two reels have become one ,made from two the same but different reels at some point either by a previous owner or at the factory !!
