Default Rod ID needed...

All,

Anything you can tell is appreciated. A customer wants me to restore a great uncle's old 'boo. It has a heavily swelled butt, and old style ring keeper, multi-color wraps (mostly black and red, tho) and a partially decipherable decal... it reads "H" (clearly) then what looks like an "ond" then a "u" or "y" and the remaining letters are clearly "vine". The lettering is red with a black shadow on a gold decal. "Honduvine" or Hondyvine (I thought Handy... but I it doesn't look like it was an "a" or the tail of a 'y" was ever there.) is all I can come up with and find NOTHING. The word "Flyer" is written in script (with the quote marks) under the decal... in gold ink.

Assembled, the rod would be 8' with the heavier mid and tip, and 9' with the smaller dia. mid and tip. (Yes, they're all interchangeable.) It looks to be a trout/bass combination or a dry/nymph combo. It has intermediates every 2 inches... yeah... whatta pain! Brass seat, plated ferrules (pinned) that all look original. Not in terrible shape, but a couple missing guides. No sets, all straight. He's looking for a wall mount as original as possible, let me know if any of you have seen one of these, please.

Can't find anything with the muddled decal names either UK or US... and "Flyer" only comes up with Orvis rods...

Thanks Much... Mike

ADDED: Nevermind, I found it listed... (It's called Hinduvine) not worth shyte... only to the owner. I'll ask him if he still wants me to spend a month tying intermediate wraps, or just take it home.

thanks... me
