Hi,

I am trying to find out some info on E Kerry fishing tackle. I know they were based in Pickering. Does anyone have any information on them? Were they a well know fishing tackle company in their day? Any info would be great. I've done the usual internet search, which returned very little.

On my website www.richardwheatleymuseum.org under compartment box2 there is a photograph of a rare E. Kerry dry fly box. This box seems to have only been made for Kerry's.

I also have a 1933 catalogue which shows the items that they sold that year. Of great interest to me as they purchased a number of items from Richard Wheatley (including the above). If you p.m. your address I will try to photocopy it for your research although catalogues of this age do not always copy well. (94 pages and the cover)

Anything that you discover about their dealings with Wheatleys and their stocking of Wheatley made angling equipment would be considered a fair trade
