Post Identify old rod

Hi can anybody help me indentify this rod? It was given to me by a family friend about 15 years ago
As you can see from the photo's the top section is a bit discolored can this be fixed? Also i have no idea to the rods line rating?
Also does anyone think there is any value in it?
Thanks for the replies
Robert

Fairly sure that a Geoff Bucknall rod , He sold a lot of these mid late 70s , not a high value rod but if its one of the later blanks could be fun to fish with ,sadly it will blow up !

Default rod...

100% cetain, THATS, a Geoff Bucknall, 99% Certain it's the "Twin Lakes"... I have one in the corner as I type... ACW is right, it's not a high value rod... Frankly, I've never liked mine. ....I have'nt used it for yrs, Only keep it cos i've had it so long... It will probably be a 6 or 7 wt...I dont remember an 8wt...?? They're light for glass rods though.
By the way, the tip on mine has faded the same as yours..

Think it could be almost any of the range ,they went from 7 ish footers through to a doublehander ,the original blanks were a dark green followed by the Heron Blue Grey blank seen in the photo .
The Twin lake is actually called a two lakes I still have one in the green livery, that was a superb #7 shooting head rod ,and also a darent a#5 rod which did me for my first few trips to the chalkstreams !

"Two lakes" your quite correct ACW....The decal has almost worn off now, but you remind me.. it was...
I always found the rod a bit soft for me.....Its a 7wt, Now I go for a middle to tip or a through action... must be my age, cant handle a fast un
I dont remember the green blank....
