Default Hardy Sunbeam

Anyone know anything about old Hardy Sunbeams?

I have a 3.1/4" one similar to that shown in Hardy's 1954 catalogue i.e. smooth brass foot, Bickerdyke line guard and a central brass screw (as opposed to the older horse-shoe or telephone latch), but mine is LHW and I just wonder how unusual they were, if at all, over the more common RHW?

Any info greatly appreciated.

Sunbeam, made in 3 sizes - 2 3/4", 3" & 3 1/4".
From 1924 - 56

Is your a Mark 2?
Post photos (I can't remember if these are reversible RH to LH)

Cheers
Brian
