Default Grandad's reels help / info?

I inherited these reels and lots of other tackle inc rods , they were my Grandads [inc a brand new un used fly rod from 1938 still with labels on the cork etc and in original sleeve and tube over that ]. Iv used the kp morrits intrepid but nowadays i felt it was a bit to heavy compared to modern reals [ and i didnt like laying it down etc ] .

as for the others iv not got a clue what there used for ....

any ideas of use and age approx ?
