Hi i have just come across this reel it was in a box of tackle given to me a few years ago the reel is as mentioned above its in good condition.Are these reels collectable?

I don't really know much about them, I've not even held one, but until some one more knowledgeable shows up....
Interesting anti reverse reels;
Quite usable but the mechanism has a reputation for being a little fragile;
Slowly gaining popularity with collectors along with other post-war young reels;
In good condition I'd guess around £45, but I could be very wrong there.

I've used a nice example Steelhead fishing. The reel makes a dreadful sound and the drag seems unreliable. I'll be shedding mine soon, but the reel is innovative in one respect: it's anti-reverse, quite helpful if you hook a mighty fish.
