Default Greenheart rod: recognise the logo?

I was wondering if any forum members could help me to identify the logo on the reel seat of this old greenheart rod?
Click the image to open in full size.

It looks like a flying stork or similar with a fish in its mouth.

Grateful for your help

Heathfield

Good for you northern angler. How did you know that one ? not that I did despite frequenting this shop when I was a boy but having said that we bought a few flies, some worm hooks & a tub of maggots, no the lovely rods & reels on display
For those that do not know Wm J. Robertson was one of the most respected Glasgow angling shops situated near the bottom on Wellington Street. Do not know when it was founded & I never knew William as I think he had passed away by then but the proprietor then was Angus & his son whose name escapes me but who was a rep for ABU which had a one time their distribution warehouse across the road before they moved to Clydebank. Had at one time their own tiers & the most famous was a lady call Doris Cruize if I remember right, some flies of which she tied I still have.
I do not think they actually made their own tackle but tackle was always of finest quality & I suspect Farlow,Sharpe & J W Young may have been involved. Certainly re badged with their name & now I am told the logo in question. The "Struan" reel is avidly sought by collectors as are others. Sold out to Anglers Rendezvous some years ago & relocated to Millar Street in my fair city. Now long gone though Anglers Rendezvous is still there I believe trading in Stockwell Street where they have been for many years now round the corner fro their old premises in Parnie Street.

Thanks for the info guys. The tip section of the rod is missing so I suppose it is pretty worthless but the logo got my attention. That is the only mark on the rod.

Cheers

Heathfield

Just to add a little more..it was not unusual for a tackle shop of quality to stamp there own mark on another manufacturers product....usually with a "Sold by" or "Retailed by" next to it.
