Default 12' Salmon Fly Rod

Here are some photos of a fishing rod. Just wondering who the manufacturer is and if it is worth anything. I also have this rod in the 'Rod Building' section. By the way it isn't for sale!

After asking for the photos Embarrassingly I have no idea. The reel seat rings a vague bell, and is faintly Leonard-ish, but I can't pin it down. My guess is still British and probably early 20th C. beyond that I'll have to do some more googling.

Tim.

Certainly a well used rod in it's day. Hardy had the patent for Lockfast Ferrules though I believe Walker Bampton nee Farlows also used them.
Sorry no idea of make though, nothing on the butt cap?

The reel seat does look American to me (agree with Tim, very Leonard like). The handle seems too short for an English 12 foot salmon rod. The ferrules look English. It's a bit of a mystery.

No there isn't anything on the butt cap, only cicular lines on it. The cap screws off, I haven't dared to screw it off all the way.
