Question Wheatley Product Lists

I run the Richard Wheatley Museum website (www.richardwheatleymuseum.org) and am currently trying to draw up a list of all the sales codes used between 1912 (the earliest catalogue we have) and 2008. Does anyone have a sales catalogue, product list or anything else that I can use to fill in some of the gaps ( a photocopy will do). The list is available at the moment as a free down load from the website but there are still gaps to be filled in and changes to be recorded.

Any help will be gratefully received

I am afraid I cant help a word with some of the long established Tackle dealers may well help ,O,Reillys shop in marlebone had cataloques going back to his opening unfortunately that is some 10-15 years maybe 20 back ,sure some of the longer established folks like Mortimers would have some tucked away !
Love the site and just wonder theres no sign of cast dampers I am sure at home I have a Wheatley one !

Sorry I too can not help. As a Wheatley man since my youth 50 yrs I can recognise some of the older ones that have passed through mu hands.
Did not even relise there was a site devoted to the marque. My thanks for pointing me too that one. And here is me wondering who made my old cheap (green) Loch Leven boxes. I knew about the colour change to grey & the RW logo appearing but not about thr Green.....Interesting.

Many thanks for the information.

Damper and cast boxes should be under early boxes on the drop down menu but haven't put damper pads on the site yet. Have so much more to go on that it will keep me going for years.

Hope to take some of the collection to National Tackle Fair in Redditch during November. As I don't sell boxes want something to help defray costs so thought that a booklet listing the sales codes so far located might help a little.
I am such a long way from a catalogue for Wheatley Angling Equipment as my collection is missing loads and there is so much tackle which they made or sold that I don't even know about.

I haven't really got started on the history of the Company which goes back almost 150 years

If you can add shippets to their history or have interesting bits of Wheatley kit please let me know.
