Default Reels - old and newish

Just cleaning out the garage and looked into my father's old box - a range of reels in there:

Spinning:

Three Altex - different sizes,
Three Alcedos
One Pezon & Michel - Luxor - Serrage
Many Mitchells
Youngs Gildex
Shimano speedmaster - Fighting Star?

Fly:

Hardy Brass - no name - probably Birmingham
Army & Navy Brass small
Alcocks Marvel
Alcocks Gilmour

One Bakelite reel, brown, as new - Alcock Aerialite - centre pin?

I have a good idea of the value of the Alcedos, Altex and the brass reels. I know little about the others?

I can't help much with the fixed spool reels, but the P&M might be worth something, the made some interesting and novel stuff.
On the Allcock's reels, the Aerialite is probably worth a tenner.
The Marvel is a bit more difficult, if it is a pre-war one,(looks like a Hardy St. George.) it should fetch £80-£120 dependant on size, condition and whether it has an agate line guard. If post-war (a completely different design, with a black plastic latch cover and a square metal line guard.) about £40 for a really nice one. The Gilmour has the same issue as the Marvel, but was a lower model, so £50-100 for a pre-war one and £20-25 for post-war.

(both the Marvel and Gilmour, whether pre or post war were actually made by J W Young.)
