St. James British Made Reel - info needed

Hi,

I originally posted this request on another classic reels site but have had no response yet so I thought that I would try this UK forum.

One of the reels that I picked up this last year is this 3 6/8 inch centre pin reel. On the face it has the name ST.JAMES and the words British Made.

Does this look familiar to anyone and do you have an idea of who the maker might have been? Any info would be appreciated.
