Default how to date a hardy saint st.george 3.3/8 reel
also is the drag suppose to set so as no line can be pulled off ??? when tightened either way it still lets me pull line off ??

The drag is supposed to be set to give just enough resistance to stop the reel 'free spooling' and also to act as a damper for when a fish takes.
