Default Help with old fishing tackle catalogues

Hello all,

I'm currently tring to put together lists of salmon flies supplied by tackle companies from about 1880 (or earlier) to around the 1940's - these will be published on my web site. They are great for getting a feel for what flies were popular at what time period.

I have a few old catalogues - but I was wondering if anyone else can provide me with scans of the "Salmon Fly" pages of any old interesting tackle catalogues? I am especially interested in scottish firms, but any others with good lists would also be great. I will, of course, give credit to the supplier on the web site!

You can see my website here:

THANKS

Colin

Colin

One of my favourite websites. Well done with what you have done so far and good luck with the new project. Sorry Richard Wheatley didn't make flies until much later and I think you have all the Kilroy information.

Good luck

Colin, great idea.

I've some very early Hardy catalogues, (1895, 1899, etc) PM me your email and I'll send you the scans.

Cheers
Brian
