Default Hardy Marquis #5 Query

Hi there,

I have recently picked up a Hardy Marquis Disc #5 reel, in lovely condition. I have been having a look at it and wondered if anyone could tell me how one would a. adjust between left and right hand setting (It's set for left, which is what I want, but would be useful to know..) and b. whether there is a way of switching between click and silent use. Currently there is a quiet click on retrieve, while the reel is silent when line is stripped from the reel. Any info on these queries would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Have done a bit of searching around - amazing how much info is online! I think I've worked out how to switch between LH and RH, and I think this is probably a silent check reel... it's a lovely thing - shame it's nearly the end of the season.. Cheers.

Silent marquis's have no click at all ,lovely reels and fairly unusual ,I have a five and a couple of Viscounts which have the same drags.

Thanks ACW.. it's the first Marquis I've owned, so a new experience for me, but I'm already planning a late season trip to give it a whirl.. can't wait.
