Default Old Orvis Graphite
Anyone have any info on Orvis Chalkstream rods ? It's an 8'6" 5 weight. I've had a good google around and can't find a thing. Has a really smooth progressive action not unlike the present day softer Winstons. Blanks are roughish like on some of the modern Scotts and Visions. Thanks, Tim

The rod is built on an unground blank so is not as smooth a finish as other rods. This in no way impairs it, I have an Orvis Silver Label rod very similar to it only mine is 7'9'' #5.
It must be a Full Flex action, great for fishing small streams hope you enjoy using it.
