Default old tackle catalogues

I have found 2 old tackle catalogues at my parents house can someone tell me if they are worth anything or collectable.

Abu Tightlines 73 (orange cover with cartoon of gentleman and his son going fishing)

Allcocks Anglers Guide and Abridged List of Fishing Tackle 1936-37 it has Bagnall and Kirkwood late with W R Rape, 31 Westgate Road, Newcastle-on-Tyne ostamped on the cover

Any info greatfully received

Possibly Jon, if they're in pristine condition. Save for that great bathroom reading.

Thanks for that enigma309,
I kept an eye the link wow an amazing £4.99 plus £2.50 pandp and it didn't get a bid.
I think i will take the advice of fredaevans and keep that one by the bog.

Still wondering what to do with the allcocks catalogue though

Have a look at Coch-y-Bonddu Books | COCH-Y-BONDDU BOOKS LTD Paul is one of several book dealers that sell old cat's. He's usually worth a call, but can be busy doing shows at this time of year but has staff who generally know their stuff or can find out for you,

Hi. the 73 was worth £10-15 all day long. It is just the wrong time of year, collectors are away and not buying at the moment. Look again from late Sept. on and you will see a difference.

thanks fellas,
whilst i was on the Coch-y site i had look at other books i have and was amazed at the price of Steve Partons Boat fishing as i won a signed copy on 1987 via junior troutfisherman. Plus the price of the Painted Stream surprised me as well. I may have to off load them in the autumn as you suggested Troutickler.
I didn't realise these book had such collectability.

Cheers
Jon
