I have been asked to find out if this rod is worth anything and thought that some of you knowledgable people might be able to help.

The rod is a Farlow's Parabolic Sawyer Still Water 9' 6" #6, made in England from Pezon et Michel cane.

It seems to my untutored eye to be in reasonable condition, with the exception of the rubber end piece, which is on the verge of starting to perish. The rod is in a light olive rod bag, which is not labelled, but I have no reason to suspect that it is not original.

In their day (the 80's I think), they were quite an expensive rod, If you contact Neil Freeman, the specialist London based tackle auctioneer he should be able to give you an idea.
