Default Hardy Royal Wedding Reel

I've done a search and haven't found mention of it, but has the new special edition reel from Hardy been discussed here?

Commemorative St. George Reel from Hardy & Greys | MidCurrent

It's a gold St.George and they're £800 each!! The standard 3" retails for £529, so it's quite a mark up.

I don't trhink they've announced it yet in the UK (that's the reel - not the wedding).

Or the re-birth of the Hardy Bros. name for UK made products.

Or the hand tied salmon flies in a Wheatley box.

regards,

Doc

You can buy Hardy Bros reels in the UK...

Hardy Fly - Products - Reels - Hardy Bros. Reels - St George Trout Reels

Are they made in the far east?

Special arrangement Wheatley boxes are made - seen those. Not seen the flies though and couldn't afford them if I had - but I think you get a special edition book to go with them.
