Default Hardy Sovereign

Hi all, a friend of mine is maybe looking to part with a pair of ltd edition Hardy Sovereigns 8/9. One of them in used condition the other as new, no puches just the reels. He also has a 10.5" 7# Sovereiegn rod in as new condition.

Can anyone give me an idea of where would be the best place to sell these? and perhaps a rough guide on price. I appeciate picures would help, just waiting on those now.

We were thinking about the ebay route but not sure on fees etc. I thought I'd ask here for advice first.

Cheers

If these are the original gold sovereigns then they fetch great money on E***, Collectors will buy them in an instant.

Cheers

Thanks Col. Yes I should have mentioned they are the gold ones. I'll have a pop over there now and check the prices.

Cheers.

Hi,
How much are you looking for the Hardys reels and how much for the rod?
Is the rod a 4 piece sovereign.
Many Thanks,
Ali Hutchison.

Sold my 9' 7/8 Sovereign for £130 on ebay - probably about 5-6 years ago now. I had it on 'buy it now' and it went very quickly. Probably could have squeezed a good few more quid for it......

Hi
I was not sure if my mail got to you as computer was playing up. I would be interested in your rod and reels if the price is ok. I am looking for a 10ft 6 sovereign rod to replace my lost rod.
Many Thanks,
Ali Hutchison.

Same with me, I got a about £200 for mine it was a 10 foot 6/7 Auctioned in 1997. I have way too many rods that dont get out to play...
Although I have a 10 foot 6inch 7 weight Hardy Elite It was one of the last genuine made in England hardy rods .......
I have put the elite on here today for £150 under items fo sale....plus £10 postage....
