Default Reel Restoration

I know many of the vintage tackle collectors in here also go on Classic Fly Rod Forum. They will therefore be aware of the “Restoration” debate about restoring vintage reels, and its namesake, John Mack . .

I was talking to John today; (for a Scotsman he speaks remarkably good English) and he is happy to discuss anyone’s restoration queries and requirements. He’s a great guy to chat to, very knowledgeable and well connected, and happy to share what he knows.

John has done a few first class restorations for me and, at the other end of the scale, for some world-class collectors.

He can be contacted at johnsemail (AT) wp.pl (@ and no spaces)
(or PM me).

Brian

Brian put the email format like that so as to stop the guy getting his email inbox being filled with spam. Yes, you got the email correct. Now go to edit and delete it. Best, Tim
