Default Rutland Fry Feeders

Planning my late season trip down to Rutland soon, reports show fish being caught on Fry patterns, but are they on them "PROPER" !, i.e sustained feeding ?

cheers in advance

Not really, no.

There are fish feeding on fry, but not hammering them all over the place. The weedbeds extend a long way out this year, so as a result the fish are much more spread out rather than concentrated closer to the bank. Fry patterns are working well, but so far you're casting blind rather than at feeding fish.

I agree that the fry feedings not visual ..... the fish are NOT hitting the fry under our feet...but they are on the fry all the same.

Manton and Browns Island...Ernies Point and the Fishponds have all got some cracking fish on them a lot 4 lb +.....They are on the fry and fry patterns are working well...Minkies, Floating Fry, Hummungus's etc.....

The water was coloured up the top of the South...once it clears i think it'll fish it's head off......

Oh they are also on Corixa...and small red dries or hoppers are also working well right over the weedbeds...

Personally i think you need to get there now before the Anglain Water Final in October...because that will sure give it a lot of pressure...
