It was hard going i only had one touch and one fish, Donald Forbes my boat partner had 3 touches and three fish one was over six pounds, totally agree with Toshy it was no stockie bash you had to work hard for your fish, just the way i like it. All the fish i saw were it great condition especially Davie Bradshaws, what a bag of fish, well done to Quint and team for another cracking opening day. It was also good to meet up with all the lads and get the craic hope you all have a great season

Default first day on the Lake

had a cracking day on the Lake taking our 12 fish limit and returning another 8 on white cats, cormorants and a couple on peach boobies, all fished on an intermediate line.
Fish were getting caught at International bay, Lochend Bay and from Hotel bay to Sam points fishing along the reeds.
Had a go at the Heronry but it was too windy for a controlled drift.

regards Gary
