The lorry bringing the usual stock of fish to Lawfield suffered a major problem with its braking system. The tanks were full of fish for other fisheries but of course it was not possible to transport them to their destination. The fish would not survive the night so around 500 top quality rainbows, blues and tigers were put straight in the water. It pretty much goes without saying that the fishing will be rather good for quite a while. I cannot take advantage myself as I will be out of action for a week or so but good luck to all that will get to enjoy this late summer windfall.

Will be a busy fishery over the next few days.
