Fished it this morning and have to say was in excellent form only my poor angling skills let me down . Caught one 3 pound rbow and lost 3 others including one that just ran straight out into the middle and didnt stop .Didnt even manage to turn it a bit .This was in 2 hours before i had to sadly go .The ground is sodden but the water is gin clear .

Looks like a nice venue on the website.Do you have to book in advance as it says limited to 30 tickets per day.Do they allow catch and release after limit is caught?

Sadly no catch and release , i only go on weekdays and theres no need to book its a lovely venue lots of wildlife around .

Spent this morning at Barn Elms. The water is very coloured and the lake is brimming. Eventually managed a 2 1/2 lber when I gave up on the naturals and put on a chartreuse tin head thingy with a white marabou tail. Nice to be outside and you can always find a spot sheltered from the wind.
