bank manager is on a distinguished road
Default Trawsfynydd

Can anyone shed any light on Trawsfynydd, I am looking for a venue I can take my non fly fishing son? Any info on how its fishing and where off the bank to fish?

Any help much appreciated.

Others will advise you better but it's worth noting that there are perch in the water as well as trout and recently some large pike have cropped up including fish over 20lbs. There used to be bait fishing but I'm not sure of the current situation.

Yep, bait fishing allowed from the bank, Fly fishing only from the boat.

not sure where you're based but another option could be Llyn Dinas near Aberystwyth/Ponterwyd. Eisteddfa Fishery near Criccieth also have a "any method" lake but this is a small water about 1/1000th of the size of Traws.
