Default Carron Valley

Fished twice this week (from the bank as usual)

Monday was great with a good hatch coming off at 6ish then again at 10ish

Place was bubbling at 10 with fish banging into yer waders

Monday I caught 4 Rainbows (av 2.5lb) and 6 browns ( all abve 3/4 lb )and missed some to, all on snatchers of various colours.

Thursday was difficult with heavy rain and an unfavourable wind BUT fishing was still good. There was no hatch to speak of and the broons stayed down out of site. The rainbows showed up in abundance though and although I only landed 2 I contacted over twenty most in about 2>3 ft of water tight into the bank. Fun but frustrating they were not just nips and tugs they were fish on for 20 to 30 secs

Water level was up slightly from Monday with the burns all running in well.

Warm welcome as usual from the lads.

Mick
