Default Great day

Well had a great day except for the bloody sail boats, I know everyone has the right to enjoy the loch but no-one was fishing the far end at all and we were limited to where we could fish due to the weed. Why these guys made a point of coming within about 15-25 feet of the boats is beyond me - caused a few shouting matches.

Some rules laid down for the sailors would be good.

Stay less than 200yards from the loch & decided last year not to fish Sundays during the summer months for that very reason!

Theres nowt FAFA seem to be able to do! Guess the small sailing boats have problems with the weed as well as it seems they head for the town bay more regular at that time of year.

Took some pics last year....just dont know how to post them

Was out on Saturday and saw no sailboats only some canoes and they stayed well away from us , It was other anglers that caused the problems by anchoring too close
Good day though

Aye mate - you may well be right it may be a Sunday thing as they were everywhere, even came in the water at the palace point where we were fishing (why not use the boat ramp at the other side). You could well be right with them having bother with weed as well which is why they don't stay down the far end. With all these boats whizzing about though it makes fishing near impossible. One guy cut in-between ourslves and a boat anchored just to our left which caused a shouting match, we then had dial a hero come speeding up to us in a rib asking what our problem was which put the icing on the cake - you could but laugh!

Bit of a rant but well ****** off, £ 40 odd quid (and was more stressed out than shopping with the wifie - almost )!

They can't be all that thick though and they must have known it wasn't the done thing???????????
