It is a nice spot but I met the most horrible, nasty, sexist man in the world there... It put me off a bit.

Lovely place is kilnsey, fantastic scenery and the drive home quite often provides me with my supply of pheasant tails. Its just a shame the place closes at 5pm when the fishing starts hotting up. Then its usually a toss-up between a swift half at the Tennants arms around the corner or the last few hours on the wharfe or aire

Haven't been for quite a while so maybe we could organise a forumite outing?

All the best

Rob

very good. Awful. I was taking a mate fishing for the first time, and it literally incensed him, that a girl could teach a bloke fishing. He was rude about his wife, and snatched my rod out of my hand.. grrr.

Anyhoo, it is pretty

Quite the opposite. When the horror finally left my friend got casting and caught 2 fish..super stuff!

I want to go again to see if the fit bloke is there, who could cast really well in tight trousers and thigh high wellies..sigh.. Mind, he'll only be interested if he is into Billie Piper.

Snatched your rod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Swimming lessons would have been the appropriate education for that particular neanderthal. Then again, should we sink the their "lower than whale s**t" level?

Dont let that bad experience put you off, here's a pic of my mate with a 16lb 4oz kilnsey beastie caught over christmas

A large dog knobbler round the back of the head and a sorry girls cant cast as he buggers off to A&E would have sorted the other muppet out
