Anyone know how its fishing at the moment?

Had a day out in a boat there on Fri last week. Loads of fish rising in the east arm, looked like they were feeding on damsels. They were quite fussy though, the only way I could get takes was a rough hare's ear ginked up on the top. There was another guy nearby, also taking fish under the bung on buzzers set at about 8 inches down. Red diawl bachs also working well.

There was quite a big sedge hatch in the evening and took a few fish on wickhams, klinkhammers and cdcs.

You should be ok now as the weather is cooling !, i fished Elinor last week from the bank and it wasn't easy with the high tempo's.....

The top far bank { in front of the bench } held fish, as did pilon point...... the bottom bay and lower end wasn't fishing, Ed told me this before my session but i had to have a chuck here and there !...... he was right .

Boats will be a safe bet......... but as i say, this fresher weather will definately increase the bank averages.

Dries will certainly score.
