Unhappy loch fad

fished loch fad on saturday for the first time in a couple of years and have to say i was very concerned about a couple of things , firstly the algae was horrendous considering the time of year . i know the loch has always had problems with algae but i always thought it only became that bad well into the summer months . most of the loch was covered in a thick pea soup that i had only seen before tight to the shoreline , when asked about the problem the owner said it wasnt there the day before ! seemed a bit much to appear overnight to me !! secondly the stocking policy seems very unfair , i know the fishery must make profit and i dont expect the fishing to be easy but every time i have fished the loch in the past it has been much the same , they stock all of the fish in one small area of the loch , right in front of the largest group of anglers on the bank ! the rest of the anglers on the loch including those who have spent more money hiring boats are usually left frustrated having to watch all the fish being caught in one small usually overcrowded area ! surely the fish shoule be spread out over the loch giving everyone a similar chance of success , and also maybe giving the stock fish a chance to grow on a bit and live a little longer ! i think a change of stocking policy is needed and something must be done about the algae problem , i had to wash down all my gear when i got home and my fly reel was thick with the stuff !! has anyone else had similar problems there or am i just getting old and cinical ?

Can the fish they stock swim? Or do they stay put where they are put in? ....
