Was wondering if anyone has been to Piper dams recently
and i am interested to know how the fishing was and what was catching?

Has anyone been on piperdam lately?

Our club is booked up for an outing on here soon but have been hearing a few bad stories about the place. Basically the rumours are that there are no fish being stocked due to the owners going bankrupt and it is overgrown with weeds etc.

I realise that these are just rumours but wondering if anyone can shed some light?

We were out at Piperdam today, 10 rods and only 3 fish. The fish caught were lean and not the weight they should have been.

Maybe the rumours are right

Personally i wouldnt bother with the place. Last time i went for a look there was only one boat out and that was a saturday...dont think its stocked very often at all now?
