Mostyn, I think they are great - don't you?

I can't wait to see the Hebridean and Orcadian island lochs, and surely the lakes and llyns of North Wales should be well worth any wait?

If you look underneath each fishery thread there is a place for members to score each fishery.
Service & Friendliness N/A
Fishing Quality N/A
Fish Quality N/A
Facilities N/A
Value
Now is that clever or what, or is it dangerous, is there going to be loads of phantom marking by the ones with many names, personally I think its a really good idea but doubt if the marking will be realistic

Thumbs up A labor of love?

Personal view here, never having been in the UK (well, changed planes once at Heathrow) I'm finding these to be a complete delight. Read all your posts on 'fished here/did that,' etc. The 'maps' actually (love the move the little guy around feature so you can see the surrounding country side!!) allow me to really share your enthusiasm.

A good Thing!

Fred

great idea, having a look around a water before you travel loads of miles, and all in one place, fantastic job imo

i would agree with all of the above...but isnt that what google earth is for we already have access to em all, the format is just advertising potential.

Hi fred I’m up at the Goldenloch and we are currently re shaping our car park, lodge, boat jetty, but most importantly making it easier for people to get in and out of boats our old boat jetty is really past its best so we are shifting everything to a bit where it is less popular for catching fish, its a funny thing but having a fishery is all about a certain way of life I think if you were to ask most anglers that go fishing, they like to feel like they are part of this environment its not just about catching fish its all about the surroundings what’s happening next and where are the fish and what are they doing, I have always wanted to put up a web cam down at the loch so anglers can see the conditions before they get here and also it would be fun to be able to watch the loch so hopefully after we have got all reassembled we will have a web cam PS I do a weekly blog/report and try to give an accurate report on the weekly situation its just for fun but some like it John

this way you don't have to go hunting all the waters in one place, and there are some waters on the posts he made that I hadn't come across before, so ideas for a day when I aint sure where to go.

Great minds think alike John, suggested the same thing at Newton for years, think it would really help the anglers (and the fishery).
