Hi Shrek, I think your right its got to be a great way for some to find places that are less well known, a couple of years ago we had a visit from some guy that was compiling a list of fisheries he had entered into his sat nav all the post codes and was making his way round Scotland aiming to visit them all I wonder if he managed he did say he was going to write a book about it

Sometimes its not easy knowing what to do though and sometimes things just go pearshaped for no reason, I personally need to buy new boats, but am struggling with the economics of doing it, for 3 years I have said to myself this time I am going to come back from the Highland Show knowing that I have bought 2 Boats, 1st year the loch just went green with Algae for absolutely no reason and the anglers just disappear like snow af a dyke 2nd year the weeds just went nuts and well that was last year we spent all summer cutting weeds with our new weedcutter and the 3rd year well thats now an ive decided to change everything about so you see every fishery has its own reasons, but most importantly its all about enjoying it an the truth is its great fun

I agree - webcams are the future. We are installing them as fast as we can!

I think they will work for stillwaters too, but privacy may be an issue. Even Google Street View has come under fire for catching some compromising situations!

Here are some of our river webcams, so far:

River Avon (Devon) Webcam
River Axe Webcam
River Barle (Exe trib.) Webcam
River Camel Webcam
River Exe Webcam
River East Lyn Webcam

OK, now I am Gobsmacked these Webcams are absolutely BRILLIANT I think you have just given me hours of entertainment why couldn’t you have put all this up during the winter when there was nothing to do, I used to spend hours looking at You tube vids then I spent hours looking at all the fisheries and guess what now, actually would someone explain to me who or why all this is happening, I just think that someone or some people deserve a huge well done its beyond comprehension.
