Post LAWFIELD SUNDAY

went a wee run up to lawfield on sunday with the treefisher, usually deburger boy is with us,tried phoning him all morning, couldnt get him, then on the way up i got a phone call from the deburger boy,he was just up.lol, but keen he was instead of breakfast first he couldnt resist it,so he choose lawfield,i caught 5 cracking fighting bows,1 for 6 lb,1 for 4 lb and 3 for about 8 lb,2 of my fish were caught on the c.d.c,1 on a wee buzzer, and 2 on the black humungus,i also dropped a few and missed a few on the dries, treefisher did well to just to make it fishing after his fishing adventures up north all week, thats what a like to see ken,u can never keep a true angler down,he caught 4 bows, biggest about 5 lb,he also dropped a few,and at last light he lost a cracking bow, must have been near the double figure mark, maybe next time tree man,,its coming.the deburger boy caught 2 bows on the minkie,1 for 4 lb and 1 for 3 lb,he missed a nice one on the dry, unlucky deburger,,maybe 3 next time, the fishing was hard yesterday due to the wind, but wee plodded on and got a result, well done boys, another great day at the great wee fishery

Default a hard but good day at lawfield

went a run up to lawfield with rainbow rab and deburger boy on saturday, was hard going due to the windy conditions, but there were still a few fish moving on the surface, managed to temp a few up to my sedge but missed them, eventually hooked one but dropped it not long into the fight,,but kept the chin up and kept trying, bang and there we go first fish off the day,a cracking fighting rainbows at 3 lb,after that the wind picked up and all went quiet, time to get 5 mins out,i was sitting eating my curry pie,i found a daddy sitting on one of the jetties,i decided to try it and it payed off, landed another 3 rainbows for 8 lb,and tempted loads of fish up to this daddy i found, cheers to whoever dropt it from there fly box, gave me a good day with plenty of action, rainbow rab and deburger boy never caught but as always at lawfield they enjoyed there day, maybe next time boys, cheers billy

First time at Lawfield tonight went with Repairman . Fishing proved difficult due to the sun being really bright and the caenis . We got one fish each but as we were leaving the sun dissapeared and the place was boiling with fish . Nice fishery and the pies are superb will def be giving it another visit in the not so distant future .
