Our club was there 2 weeks ago and we are back again this weekend coming.
We had 36 fish for 71lb 9oz and 3 were bagged up early.
No catch and release allowed. The fish are well spread out and we didn't find any shoals.
They are also different quality as some were just over the pound and others had fish of 3lb plus.
Try the usual blobs, goldhead green and white taddy and damsels.

Dont you mean the fish were ranging in size from 1lb upwards?.... or does quality get measured in lbs these days?

I prefer a range of sizes as you never know what you will get ;-)

The point that I was trying to make was that there wasn't a range of sizes. It appeared to be 2 distinct stockings of either 1lb fish or 3lb plus fish.
Either way they were good quality and fought well.

Jonboy, Quality is not size..... from the original post I took that Duff was meaning the 3lb ers were better quality?

Lochore is a council run water and their stocking policy is fish of 600g(1.3lbs) average with 10% of 1.5 kg fish (3 lbers +)

Hope this enlightens you!!!
