Default Burnhouse Fishery

Been up a few times this year and got to say better fish in the main last years visits were good in the fact i caught but wasnt happy with fish standards.Got 7 in total tonight between 3 and 7pm with mental buzzer hatch lasting 15 to 20 mins it sent the wee residents crazy with the wee broons going daft i hooked and lost many during the hatch.Snatchers and diawl bachs were the flys for me on a midge tip.water is clearer than ive seen it but you only appreciate this if you see a black fly against it(it still looks muddy). My fish today were fully finned but 1 or 2 had a worn patch on the snout (? concrete base in holding tank).John the new guy seems very pleasant and welcoming and wants to get it back to were its been in the past ,its a good wee stillwater give it a go.
